Creativity in the Digital Age - Lecture Series

I have recently stepped outside the comforts of my paint-stained studio to seek new ways of helping students bridge the gap between studio art practices and the exponential use of digital-media…seeking opportunities for visual art students to better tell their unique stories, and to help inform the public of the value of the arts and creativity.

I have spoken at numerous Technology and Innovation Conferences for higher education faculty and staff including; The Creative Genius of Thomas Edison at the University of New Haven, Engaging the Twenty-First Century Learner at Middlesex Community College, and Old School vs. Digital...Nothing but Choices at Tunxis Community College in Connecticut. I share how art students are successfully using digital platforms to cultivate creativity, to tell their unique stories, to find purpose, to discover gifting, to build empathy…so that their digital-exhaust is creating a positive and responsible web presence.
